Polyurethane primer for general use

A fast-setting, one-component, polyurethane-based universal primer used for a wide range of substrates before the application of Hyperdesmo and Aquasmart products.

GEODESMO-50 is a single-component, polyurethane-based universal primer used for all types of surfaces. It can be successfully used on porous and smooth, absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces. It is characterized by low viscosity and balanced setting time, resulting in easy application and short application time of the next coating on any type of surface, both very porous, medium and smooth (e.g. glass and metals). Moreover, it can be effectively used on both dry and wet concrete, not only as a primer but also as an economical impregnation agent, additionally increasing the resistance of concrete. Application with a brush or roller.

Consumption : 100-500 gr/m2, depending on porosity and absorbency.

Usage:

Surface priming before applying Hyperdesmo family membranes:

• universal primer, porous and smooth, absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces
• also used as an impregnation

Alchimica HYPERDESMO Classic

Liquid waterproofing membrane

HYPERDESMO®-CLASSIC is an easy-to-use waterproofing and protection method. It is a one-component liquid polyurethane membrane, which bonds by reaction with air humidity. The obtained membrane is characterized by high flexibility and strong adhesion to many types of surfaces.

HYPERDESMO-CLASSIC is based on pure elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resins, which provide excellent mechanical, chemical, thermal properties and UV resistance.

Application using a brush, roller or airless spray in two layers. Recommended consumption is a minimum of 1.2-1.5 kg/m2 (in two layers of 0.6-0.75 kg each).

APPLICATION

• Waterproofing and protection:
• Waterproofing and renovation of flat roofs
• Gypsum and cement boards
• Repair of asphalt/bitumen coverings
• Renovation of EPDM, PVC, TPO/FPO membranes
• Waterproofing under terrace tiles/decks
• Verandas and balconies
• Light metal or cement board roofs

LIMITATIONS

Not recommended use:

• on brittle surfaces
• waterproofing of tanks with chemically treated water

Application of a dark-colored membrane in a place with strong exposure to UV requires the use of HYPERDESMO-ADY-E.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

The product can be applied, among others: for: concrete, mosaics, roof asbestos boards, old but well-adhering acrylic and bitumen coatings, wood, corroded metals, galvanized steel. Requirements for concrete parameters:

• Hardness: R28 = 15Mpa
• Humidity: W < 10%
• Temperature: 5-35oC
• Relative humidity: < 85%

Selection of primer for specific applications: in accordance with the Primer Selection Table.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Clean the surface, if possible using a high-pressure washer. Remove fatty substances from the surface - grease and wax. The surface should also be cleaned of cement laitance, loose particles, mold release agents or loose fragments of old coatings. Sand down any sharp edges.

Priming:

Select the appropriate primer and prime it in accordance with its technical data sheet.

Mixing the ingredients:

Mix with a mixer at 300 rpm. Optionally, dilute the product with 5-10% SOLVENT01.

When applying with low-power airless spray, SOLVENT-01 can be added to the liquid membrane to dilute it (up to 10% by weight).

App:

Apply the product with a brush, roller or spray in two layers. For additional durability, apply a third layer.

Alchimica HYPERDESMO ADY 610

One-component, non-yellowing (100% aliphatic), highly elastic polyurethane liquid membrane

HYPERDESMO ADY610 is a fully aliphatic, one-component, liquid polyurethane membrane. After hardening, it creates a highly flexible, non-yellowing waterproofing coating that is resistant to pedestrian traffic.

The product was developed for investments requiring a stable color of the coating applied in one layer. Application of the membrane in one layer results in faster project implementation and allows you to minimize errors related to the bond strength of the interlayers.

White color

HYPERDESMO A610 is a single-component product with a good viscosity profile over a wide temperature range. When applied in one layer at the recommended consumption, it creates a bubble-free, uniform waterproofing membrane. The product maintains a stable color even in dark colors. It maintains high solar reflectivity parameters throughout its entire service life when used in white.

Application by roller or airless spray.

Consumption : 1.5 – 2 kg/m2 depending on the porosity of the substrate

HYPERDESMO®-ADY 610 is CE certified as a product part of the HYPERDESMO® system ensuring increased UV resistance and color stability.
