Sopro DSF 523 - one-component elastic sealing mortar
One-component cement sealing mortar for producing flexible water-impermeable and crack-bridging coatings. When renovating existing, durable and load-bearing ceramic tile coverings on balconies and terraces (tile-on-tile method).

For use in wet rooms (bathrooms, showers, laundry rooms, kitchens) under claddings and carpets made of ceramic tiles, in swimming pools, on balconies and terraces under claddings and carpets made of ceramic tiles, as well as under terrace boards and slabs on spacers, in underground parts of the building, in utility water tanks. It has the National Technical Assessment ITB-KOT-2017/0027.

Application:
Composite sealing in rooms (e.g. showers, sanitary facilities, toilets) for applications in accordance with DIN 18534 in water impact classes W0-I "low", W1-I "moderate", W2-I "high" and W3-I " very high", intended for finishing with ceramic and stone cladding (corresponds to water load classes A and A0 in accordance with the list of regulations of the German construction supervision and ZDB guidelines).
For the production of internal seals for utility water tanks and basins (e.g. swimming pools) in accordance with DIN 18535 part 3 in water impact class W1-B "Up to 4 m water column height" (corresponds to load class B in accordance with ZDB guidelines). For sealing balconies and terraces in accordance with DIN 18531 part 5 (corresponds to load class B0 according to ZDB guidelines). When renovating existing, load-bearing and durable ceramic tile coverings on balconies and terraces. As a seal on terraces under terrace and wooden boards, under slabs on spacers.
For the production of flexible, crack-bridging sealing coatings, protecting the surface of building elements and structures, resistant to negative pressure.
Recommended substrates
Mineral substrates made of concrete, lightweight concrete, aerated concrete, cement and cement-lime plasters, plasterboards, gypsum fiber boards and cement boards, plasters made of plastering and masonry binders; a wall with full joints and an even surface (do not use for mixed walls); cement, anhydrite, dry screeds; dry construction boards bonded with cement; metal substrates; old ceramic cladding; heated floors; Sopro mats and sealing tapes and Sopro system elements formed from it.

Time of use
Approx. 2 hours; The set mortar should not be made reusable by adding water or mixing with fresh mortar.
Temperature application
Optimal from +5ºC to max. +25ºC (substrate, air, material)
