White, highly flexible, deformable, thin-layer cement adhesive mortar enriched with plastic, for gluing and fixing ceramic and natural stone tiles. Perfect for laying and grouting glass mosaics. Intended for use in swimming pools, operating rooms, on heated floors and walls.

Possible use on composite seals. With the addition of Sopro FD 447 for laying glass mosaics in underwater and heavily water-loaded applications.

Application:

For tiles, terracotta, stoneware tiles, stoneware, clinker tiles, concrete and natural stone tiles. Particularly recommended for glass mosaics.

Sopro FKM Silver mortar is recommended for natural stones that are very sensitive to discoloration, such as crystalline marble (Carrara Blanco, Thassos, etc.).

For use in swimming pools, operating rooms, circulation passages and on balconies, terraces and facades. It is possible to use Sopro No.1 996 mortar also for grouting mosaics.

Recommended substrates:

Concrete and lightweight concrete, seasoned for at least 3 months. Cement screeds, anhydrite screeds, poured asphalt screeds (indoors), dry. Heated floors and walls (cement and anhydrite screeds). Existing, durable ceramic, natural stone, terrazzo or concrete slab cladding. Dry wall building boards made of gypsum, plasterboard and gypsum-fiber. A wall with full joints and an even surface (do not use for mixed walls). Plasters made of plastering and masonry binders. Cement, cement-lime, gypsum plaster. Hard foam boards. Composite seals made of Sopro FDF 525, Sopro DSF 423/523 or Sopro TDS 823.

Mixing proportions:

9.3-9.7 l of water: 22.5 kg of dry Sopro No.1 996 mortar

Layer thickness:

Up to 15 mm of set mortar

Application temperature:

From +5°C to max. +30°C (substrate, material, air); In the cold season, it is recommended to use Sopro quick-setting adhesive mortars in outdoor areas.

Wear:

Approx. 1.1 kg/m2 per 1 mm layer thickness.
