Sika Remover 208 is a solvent-based, colorless, clear cleaner for painted surfaces. It is also used to remove soiling from Sikaflex products.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

Sika Remover 208 is used for pre-cleaning heavily soiled, non-porous substrates. Sika Remover 208 can be used to clean painted surfaces prior to bonding.

Sika Remover 208 can also be used for removing uncured residues of Sikaflex adhesives and sealants from tools and soiled surfaces.

APPLICATION METHOD

Removal of uncured material

Remove Sikaflex residue with a knife or spatula. Moisten a cloth or towel with Sika Remover 208 and wipe off any remaining adhesive or sealant.

Surface cleaning

Wipe off painted surfaces with a cloth or towel moistened with Sika Remover 208. Moisten a paper towel with solvent, pouring the liquid onto the cloth. Never immerse a paper towel in Sika Remover 208 as it may contaminate it! Use fresh paper towels regularly to maintain cleaning efficiency.

Before the solvent dries on the surface (evaporates), wipe it off with a clean, dry, lint-free paper towel. Repeat the last two steps until no debris appears on the white paper towel.

Do not use on sensitive surfaces such as fresh paint. Close the container tightly immediately after each use. Before use, compatibility with the substrate used should be checked.
