Sikaflex 291 is a non-sag elastic one-component polyurethane sealant for a variety of marine applications which cures to an elastomer upon exposure to ambient moisture. Sikaflex 291 is manufactured based on the ISO 9001/14001 system standard, which guarantees high quality of the material, and the "Responsible Care" program. Sikaflex 291 meets the requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

APPLICATION

Sikaflex 291 is a universal product for marine construction applications. It is a suitable material for making flexible, durable, soundproofing, vibration-reducing seals, as well as for bonding teak decks and various other internal and external seals. Sikaflex 291 perfectly bonds most materials commonly used in the marine industry, such as: wood, metals, aluminum, paint coatings, ceramic materials, laminate, plastics. Sikaflex 291 should not be used on plastics prone to stress cracking (such as Plexiglas, polycarbonate, etc.) Cured Sikaflex 291 can be sanded.
