Den Braven (Bostik) Sanitary Silicone

Den Braven Sanitary Silicone is a universal, one-component, permanently elastic silicone sealing putty with a vinegar curing system, intended for sealing in sanitary rooms.

Usage

Sealing in sanitary rooms (bathrooms, toilets, showers, kitchens, laundry rooms). Sealing joints of bathtubs, shower cabins, shower trays, washbasins, sinks, toilet bowls, bidets, countertops. Corner grouting of ceramic tiles (flexible grout).

How to use

The depth of the joint should always be in appropriate proportion to its width. Generally, this ratio (with a gap width of up to 10mm) should be 1:1, with the width and depth of the gap being at least 5mm. For gaps wider than 10 mm, this ratio is calculated using the formula "depth [mm] = (width [mm] / 3) + 6. To use, remove the applicator, cut off the tip of the cartridge above the thread, screw the applicator onto the cartridge and cut it off tip at an angle to the width of the joint. To avoid contamination of the area around the joint being filled, protect it on the sides with masking tape. Remove the tape immediately after finishing the joint processing. Smooth the joints with a spatula, spatula or finger, dipping them in water with a small amount of soap, within 13 minutes of applying the silicone. The joint should have a shape that allows water to drain freely.
