Silicone sealant for various substrates. Good resistance to oil and joint movements.

LOCTITE SI 5900 is an easily removable, moisture curing, thixotropic silicone based paste. Typical applications include stamped sheet metal covers (timing covers and oil sumps). It is characterized by instant skin formation (15 min.) and is suitable for gaps not exceeding 1 mm. It is a one-component product that does not require mixing.
