A primer that increases adhesion to metals

Sika® Primer-204 N is a low viscosity, moisture curing compound. It is used for the pre-treatment of metal surfaces to be bonded or sealed with Sikaflex® products.

Sika® Primer-204 N is manufactured according to the ISO 9001 / 14001 system, which guarantees high quality of the material.

APPLICATION

Sika® Primer-204 N is an adhesion primer for mild steel, stainless and galvanized steel, as well as bare and anodized aluminium. Sika® Primer-204 N is not an anti-corrosive agent.

APPLICATION METHOD

Surfaces of primed materials must be dry, clean, free of rust, dust and grease. Typical surface preparation is by sanding the surface with a very fine abrasive or by wiping the surface with Sika® Cleaner-205 and allowing it to dry.

Shake the Sika® Primer-204 N container carefully until the mixing ball is clearly audible and can move freely. Apply once, thin, uniform layer with a brush or a piece of felt. Close the packaging tightly immediately after use.
