Hydraulically binding, pigmented cement mortar, with the addition of Rhine trass, for building and grouting construction walls, foundations, engineering structures and small architectural objects made of clinker bricks, especially for decorative walls. Compressive strength class M10 in accordance with the PN-EN 998-2 standard.

Usage

For building and grouting construction walls, foundation walls, engineering structures and small architectural objects made of clinker bricks, especially for decorative walls. Thanks to the content of trass, specially selected, high-quality aggregates and hydrophobic additives, the mortar has high tightness, which limits the possibility of lime efflorescence and is very resistant to weather conditions. For grouting clinker and natural stone cladding, with a minimum joint joint depth of 10 mm.

Mixing proportions

3.75-4.25 l of water: 25 kg of Sopro KMT 258, 402,452 mortar

4.0-4.5 l of water: 25 kg of Sopro KMT 405, 443, 456 mortar

Wear

Approx. 40 kg/m2 for a 12 cm thick wall or approx. 85 kg/m2 for a 25 cm thick wall. When grouting brick walls on one side - approx. 5 kg/m2. Depending on the type of brick (e.g. bricks with holes), consumption may increase by approximately 15%.

Properties

Sopro KMT clinker mortar with trass is a dry mortar that is ready for use after mixing with water. It is easy and quick to prepare and has optimal adhesion to the brick. Ensures water vapor permeability. Due to high flexibility, shrinkage cracks do not occur. The joint is resistant to weather conditions and variable freezing and thawing cycles. The addition of Rhine Trass reduces the risk of lime efflorescence and increases the tightness of the mortar, which ultimately results in high resistance to weather conditions. Specially selected aggregate (the share of individual fractions) ensures high tightness of the mortar.
