RAGE OPTEX is an excellent putty that sands well. Its unrivaled easy sanding properties are the result of the patented EcoResin resin. RAGE OPTEX uses a new patent color change technology, which optically changes the color from pink to light gray-green.

RAGE OPTEX is an excellent putty that sands well. Its unrivaled easy sanding properties are the result of the patented EcoResin resin. RAGE OPTEX uses a new patent color change technology, which optically changes the color from pink to light gray-green. The stability formula has excellent filling properties, which eliminates the need to use putty
finishing.

Substrates

Steel, stainless steel, SMC, fiberglass, galvanized steel, aluminum, OEM honed paint and silicone, bronze welds

Preparation

Clean and degrease the repair panel with soap and water, then wipe with thinner. Dry the surface before repairing. Keep the repair area as small as possible. Use P80-P180 grit to remove varnish and sharp edges with P180-P220 grit.

App

Apply layers by pressing evenly. Don't apply them all at the same time. The repair will gradually change color from pink to light gray-green, indicating that the repair is dry and ready for sanding.

Grinding

The sanding process can be started after approximately 16-20 minutes. Pre-grinding can be started with P80 – P220 granulation.
