Medium release general purpose thread sealant for cylindrical/cylindrical and cylindrical/taper threads and joints. It fills the spaces between the threaded parts and at the same time protects the threaded connections.

LOCTITE 577 is designed to protect and seal metal pipes and fittings and other threaded connections. The product provides instant, low-pressure sealing of metal pipes and installations. It does not creep, shrink or fray. It has excellent resistance to chemicals and high temperatures and less migration of the liquid product after application. NEW: Henkel has recently refined the formulation of LOCTITE 577 which now:

• It is characterized by higher strength on contaminated surfaces

• Offers resistance to higher temperatures

• It is highly effective on passive metals without the use of an activator
