SIKA 6220 + 6250 wax for the maintenance of hollow sections

When preparing for the maintenance of closed profiles in the vehicle, once we have decided on a specific brand - Sika - the question often arises which one to use: 6220 or 6250 ? The answer is: both !

The best results in the maintenance of closed profiles are achieved when using both versions , in two stages. Amber wax should be applied first. After 24 hours, a thicker, white preparation can be used.

Set contains:

• 1 pc. - Sikagard 6220S 500ml - amber - with penetrating properties and the ability to capillary - this means that this agent can climb walls, thanks to which it penetrates into cracks better,
• 1 piece - Sikagard 6250S 500ml - white/colorless - dense in consistency, creating a more compact layer, with the ability to self-healing,

The use of both measures will ensure that the profile has been secured thoroughly, in every possible gap, and the protective layer is thick and will last for years.

After drying, it forms a brown, slightly sticky wax layer that protects closed spaces against corrosion.

After drying, it forms a white, slightly sticky layer of wax that protects closed spaces against corrosion.
