Sikaflex 228 liquid self-levelling adhesive for large areas

Sikaflex-228 is a 1-part self-levelling, flexible panel adhesive suitable for bonding a variety of panel materials including solvent resistant (PUR) foams, stainless steel sheets, aluminum sheets, wood based building boards and plasterboards.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

Sikaflex 228 is suitable for bonding a variety of panel materials including solvent resistant foams (PUR), stainless steel sheets, aluminum sheets, wood based building boards and plasterboards. It can also be used to seal straight and lap joints or to fill structural joints in floors. For exterior seals, thin layers of Sikaflex®-228 must be protected from sunlight (e.g. by painting or covering). The manufacturer's advice should be sought and tests performed on original substrates before using Sikaflex®-228 on materials susceptible to stress cracking. This product is for experienced professional users only. Testing with actual substrates and conditions should be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.
