Sopro silicone - flexible sanitary silicone 310ml

Application

Sopro sanitary silicone is a ready-to-use, acetic acid-curing, fungus-reducing silicone sealing material, designed for flexible filling of connection and expansion joints in sanitary rooms, also between tile coverings and a bath tub, shower tray, washbasin or sink, toilet bowl, urinal, etc.

For grouting gaps in door and window frames, corners and joints between wall and floor coverings indoors, in underwater areas (with Sopro UW 025 primer), indoors and outdoors.

Recommended substrates

Sopro Silicon bonds many types of substrates without the need for a primer. On absorbent substrates, the adhesion of sanitary silicone can be increased by using the Sopro P 4050 primer. Clean the substrates, e.g. board edges, apply Sopro P 4050 with a brush to the edges of the cladding and allow it to evaporate. Sopro Silicon should be built into the joint gaps within 5 hours after applying the primer.

Without primer : glass, cladding tiles and double-sided tiles, polyester plastic, fiberglass reinforced, epoxy varnishes, PVC, alkyd varnishes, aluminium, acrylic plastics.

With Sopro P 4050 : concrete, aerated concrete, plaster, masonry.

With Sopro SPM 022: stainless steel, galvanized steel, galvanized chrome, anodized aluminum, enamels, solvent-based varnish coatings, PVC.

Due to the variety of substrates and the possibility of mutual interactions, we recommend carrying out a trial grouting.
