SikaForce®-300 Primer is a solvent-based, colorless solution of adhesion promoters. SikaForce®-300 Primer is specially formulated to improve the adhesion of substrates prior to the application of SikaForce®-301 and SikaForce®-302 plastic repair adhesives.

APPLICATION

SikaForce®-300 Primer is used to improve adhesion to a wide range of plastics. Seek manufacturer's advice and test on original substrates before using SikaForce®-300 Primer on materials susceptible to stress cracking. This product is intended for experienced professional users only. Tests should be performed on actual substrates and conditions to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.

APPLICATION METHOD

Preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil, dust and dirt.

SikaForce®-300 Primer should be applied at a temperature of 15°C to 30°C (product, ambient and substrate temperature). SikaForce®-300 Primer should be applied thinly and evenly to the surface in short bursts to avoid dripping or running of the product. If the surface prepared in this way has not been glued before the maximum evaporation time has elapsed, the surface preparation process must be repeated (only once). Consumption and method of application depend on the specificity of the substrate.

IMPORTANT NOTE

SikaForce®-300 Primer contains solvent which may dull the surface of some freshly applied paints. Preliminary tests should be carried out. Never apply to porous substrates as it may not evaporate completely and the adhesion or properties of the adhesive may be affected. If necessary, protect adjacent surfaces by masking them. SikaForce®-300 Primer must not be used for smoothing joints or as a cleaning agent.
